Q. If you could change one thing in the industry, what would it be and why?

For the wider industry to acknowledge and embrace the changing self-employment landscape, assist more customers realise that ambition of owning a home.

Q. What do you think is The Mortgage Lender’s greatest strength(s)?

Real life lending, embracing the ever-changing marketplace.

Q. What five items couldn’t you live without?

Family, iPhone, coffee, laptop and Sky Sports News.

Q. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Love Island.

Q. Biggest compliment you’ve ever received from a customer?

“You have literally saved my life”, after I issued a Critical Illness policy pay-out.

Q. What’s the most surprising part of your role?

The fact that most UK drivers do not know how to drive on the motorway!

Q. Is there a sector of the mortgage market that you think is really untapped?

Later life lending given the UKs older demographic.
