You want a real-world experience in a financial services business and don’t want to wait? You have a passion for helping people? You want a great salary at the same time as furthering your learning and qualifications?
‘Thrive: The Mortgage Lender Apprenticeship programme’ helps you take the first steps in your career and beyond, and unlocks opportunity:
We actively encourage applications from all backgrounds
Our programme is aimed at 18-24-year olds looking to kick start their career, whilst studying towards an advanced (Level 6) Apprenticeship. We will be flexible on age criteria for applicants who are care leavers or have a disability, in which case you must be 29 or younger at your start date.
You will study towards a Certificate in Customer Services in the Financial Services Sector at SCQF Level 6. With this Apprenticeship, we will partner with a dedicated training provider who will support your ongoing learning and help you work towards your qualification.
You’ll also have unlimited access to our online learning system, which provides training on a diverse range of subject. On top of that, you’ll experience immersive on-the-job learning whilst working alongside our experts – allowing you to truly understand our business and start your career.
We have two roles available in our Mortgage Operations Division. These will be based in our Glasgow City Centre office.
The programme will run for two years encompassing a number of rotations empowering you to become proficient across our lending business– you’ll get the skills and experience you need to take your career with us to the next level.
Your line manager will set you up with an individual learning plan and goals to help you complete your Apprenticeship and to identify any training that you’ll need to be successful in your role.
To make sure you’re set up for success, from day one you will have a member of the Senior Leadership team as a coach and a colleague as a buddy. And once you’re established in the programme, we’ll look for you to be a buddy, using your experience to guide and support new young talent.
In year two you’ll join our mentoring programme where we can really help you unleash and reach your potential.
The icing on the cake? You’ll establish a community where you will support each other, identify ways in which we can improve the programme, and welcome and grow new young talent as they join… you’ll be our programme ambassadors!
